Friday Health Plans of Nevada has finalized operations in Nevada. Coverage for existing Friday Health Plans members ended at midnight on August 31, 2023. Enrollees of Friday Health Plans automatically qualify for a special enrollment period through NevadaHealthLink.com.
Nevada Health Link’s special enrollment period is open now through October 31, 2023 for any Nevadan who lost health insurance through Friday Health Plans, including those with plans on or off the Marketplace. Shop for and enroll in a new plan on NevadaHealthLink.com and take advantage of tax credits or subsidies you may qualify for.
Get enrolled in a new plan by Thursday, August 31, 2023 to avoid a gap in coverage!
If you were enrolled through Nevada Health Link…
…your existing Friday Health Plans policy has been terminated with coverage ending 8/31/2023, and a special enrollment period has been created for you. Log in to your account and choose “Shop for Plans” or “Change Plans” to re-enroll with new insurance carrier.
If you were NOT enrolled through Nevada Health Link…
…you still qualify for the special enrollment period, but you will need to create a Nevada Health Link account and report a Loss of Minimum Essential Coverage. We recommend seeking assistance from a licensed enrollment professional to ensure a streamlined enrollment process (see “Need Assistance?” below).
