The Nevada Health Link open enrollment period opens November 1st and will close on January 15. If you enroll by December 31, you’ll have coverage as soon as January 1. If you enroll by January 15, you can expect coverage by February 1.

You can find all the information you need to enroll at Nevada Health Link and the first step is using our window shopping tool. After entering some basic information about yourself, your family and your income, you’ll be able to see what benefits and plans you qualify for. From there, we will direct you to one of several insurance brokers and licensed enrollment professionals who can help you find the perfect plan for your specific situation. Or, if you need immediate assistance, you can email Nevada Health Link directly at customerserviceNVHL@exchange.nv.gov.

Remember, getting insurance now will protect you in the future. So don’t wait. Get coverage for the New Year by enrolling with Nevada Health Link before December 15, 2016. If you miss open enrollment, you may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) with a qualifying life event (QLE). In other words, certain life events or situations, such as job loss, income change, marriage/divorce or birth/adoption of a child, may allow you to enroll in an insurance plan through Nevada Health Link outside of the annual open enrollment period.

All of our health plans exist to reduce the costs of health insurance and make sure you are covered. We’re always to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out for free enrollment assistance.
