Short Term Limited Duration Plan (STLD)

Short-term limited duration medical policies or “short term medical” policies are designed to provide coverage for a limited time between health insurance policies; for example, for students taking a semester off school or for individuals who are between jobs. Unlike plans offered through Nevada Health Link, these short-term plans do not include the ten essential health benefits, such as preventative care or emergency services.
