Why Nevada Health Link?
Nevada Health Link is the state’s official health insurance marketplace, and the only place you can receive federal tax credits known as subsidies to help cover the cost of your health insurance. How much you pay each month for health insurance will be based on your household income, family size, and location. 9 out of 10 enrollees are saving more than ever before with health insurance plans through Nevada Health Link. Depending on your individual situation, you may be eligible to receive these financial subsidies to help pay for your monthly premiums.
Qualified Health Plans
Nevada Health Link is the best choice for Nevadans, as it’s the only place that guarantees coverage of the 10 Essential Health Benefits in all qualified health plans with no annual or lifetime limits. Benefits include emergency services, mental health and substance use disorder services, prescription drugs, pregnancy and newborn care (birth control & breastfeeding), rehabilitative services, laboratory services, preventive services, and pediatric services.
Find a Plan that Fits Your Plans
When it comes to selecting a plan at Nevada Health Link, you will notice three tier levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Each tier includes the 10 Essential Health Benefits, and all of them are crafted to best fit your lifestyle and budget:
- Gold: 20% cost-sharing (a higher monthly premium; lower costs when you need care).
- Silver: 30% cost-sharing (a moderate monthly premium; moderate costs when you need care).
- Bronze: 40% cost-sharing (a lower monthly premium; higher costs when you need care. Some carriers who do not offer plans on Nevada Health Link only offer bronze metal tier plans).
- Catastrophic Plans: Catastrophic plans cover the same essential health benefits as other Nevada Health Link plans. Like other plans, catastrophic plans cover certain preventive services at no cost and can cover at least three primary care visits per year before you’ve met your deductible. Catastrophic plans are typically limited to those who are under 30, not eligible for the Advance premium tax credit (APTC), or have only so many preventive care visits until the annual out-of-pocket maximum is reached.
